JeetCity KYC and AML Policy

JeetCity maintains a strict Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policy in accordance with Australian regulatory requirements and applicable counter-terrorism financing (CTF) legislation. This policy establishes the procedures by which JeetCity verifies the identity of account holders, monitors transactions, and upholds the integrity of its platform. Adherence to these obligations is fundamental to user safety and the lawful operation of the service.

Purpose of KYC and AML Policy

JeetCity’s KYC and AML procedures are designed to verify user identity, prevent fraud, and stop financial crimes from occurring on the platform. These procedures align with Australia’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act) and are enforced consistently across all account activity.

This policy guarantees:

  • Protection of the platform from use in criminal or unlawful financial activity;
  • Assurance that all deposited and withdrawn funds originate from legitimate, verifiable sources;
  • Fair play conditions for all registered users by preventing account manipulation;
  • Compliance with reporting obligations to AUSTRAC and other relevant Australian authorities;
  • A secure and transparent environment in which all users can participate with confidence.

KYC Requirements

All users registering on JeetCity are required to complete identity verification before withdrawals are processed or accounts are fully activated. Depending on the account activity and the information provided at registration, the following documents may be requested:

  • Government-issued photo identification, such as a passport or Australian driver’s licence;
  • Proof of residential address, such as a recent utility bill, bank statement, or official government correspondence dated within the last three months;
  • Confirmation of the payment method used, such as a bank statement, screenshot of an e-wallet account, or a photo of the front of a credit or debit card with sensitive digits obscured;
  • A selfie or live photograph holding the submitted identification document, for additional ID verification purposes;
  • Source of funds documentation, such as payslips or bank statements, where transaction volumes or account activity warrant further review.

Triggers for Additional Verification

Certain account behaviours or transaction patterns may prompt JeetCity to request further documentation or conduct enhanced due diligence on an account holder. The following circumstances may trigger an additional verification request:

  • Deposits or withdrawals that exceed standard transaction thresholds established under Australian AML/CTF guidelines;
  • Unusual or inconsistent account activity that deviates significantly from the user’s established transaction history;
  • Indicators of potential identity fraud, including inconsistencies in submitted personal data;
  • Multiple accounts detected under the same identity or payment method;
  • Suspicious activity flagged through automated transaction monitoring systems.

AML Measures

  • Continuous transaction monitoring to identify irregular patterns or volumes inconsistent with typical user behaviour;
  • Automated suspicious activity detection systems that flag accounts or transactions for internal review;
  • Enhanced scrutiny and manual review of large transfers or high-frequency deposit and withdrawal activity;
  • Mandatory reporting of suspicious transactions to AUSTRAC in compliance with Australia’s AML/CTF Act 2006;
  • Ongoing staff training on AML/CTF obligations and evolving regulatory requirements;
  • Risk-based customer due diligence applied at registration and throughout the account lifecycle;
  • Maintenance of detailed transaction records for a minimum period as required by Australian law.

Prohibited Activities

All users of JeetCity are bound by strict conduct requirements under this KYC and AML policy. Engaging in any of the following activities constitutes a serious breach of platform rules and applicable law.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Operating more than one account on JeetCity, regardless of the name, device, or payment method used;
  • Submitting false, altered, or fraudulent documents during identity verification or document submission;
  • Attempting to use the platform to launder money or obscure the origin of funds;
  • Sharing account access with any third party or permitting another individual to transact on an account;
  • Manipulating platform systems, bonuses, or games in a manner inconsistent with fair play obligations;
  • Depositing funds derived from criminal, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful activity;
  • Structuring transactions in a deliberate attempt to avoid detection thresholds or regulatory reporting obligations.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Violation of JeetCity’s KYC and AML policy may result in immediate and permanent consequences for the account holder. Any breach involving fraudulent document submission, money laundering activity, or other prohibited conduct will be treated with the utmost seriousness and referred to the relevant Australian authorities, including AUSTRAC, where legally required. JeetCity reserves the right to act unilaterally and without prior notice in cases where non-compliance is identified.

Consequences may include: account suspension, permanent account closure, forfeiture of account balances associated with suspicious or fraudulent activity, withholding of pending withdrawals pending investigation, reporting of the account holder to AUSTRAC or Australian law enforcement, and legal action where applicable under Australian law.

User Responsibilities

Each account holder on JeetCity bears a direct responsibility to ensure that the personal data provided at registration and throughout the account lifecycle is accurate, current, and complete. Users are required to complete all verification steps in a timely manner and to respond promptly to any document submission requests made by JeetCity’s compliance team. Failure to cooperate with identity verification procedures may result in account restrictions or suspension until the required information is received. Account holders must also notify JeetCity immediately if they become aware of any unauthorised access to their account or any suspicious activity associated with their profile. Maintaining the accuracy of account information is an ongoing obligation, not a one-time requirement.

Fair Play and Transparency

JeetCity’s KYC and AML framework is a cornerstone of its commitment to operating a fair, transparent, and accountable platform for all users in Australia. These measures are designed not only to satisfy regulatory requirements but to actively protect users from fraud, identity theft, and exposure to criminal financial activity. A rigorous compliance environment supports a gaming and wagering service that users can trust.

Key principles underpinning fair play and transparency at JeetCity include:

  • Equal application of verification and monitoring procedures to all account holders, without exception;
  • Transparent communication of compliance obligations to users prior to and during the verification process;
  • Protection of personal data submitted for ID verification in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988;
  • Zero tolerance for manipulation, collusion, or any conduct that undermines platform integrity;
  • Regular internal audits to ensure AML and KYC procedures remain current with evolving regulatory requirements;
  • Clear escalation pathways for reporting suspicious activity, both internally and to external regulators;
  • Commitment to responsible gaming standards as part of a broader platform integrity framework.
